Memorie is an app for learning words in Luxembourgish. As a website, it works on desktops as a website or an application on mobile devices.
The application currently works in five languages - English, German, French, Polish and Russian.
You start learning the vocabulary by selecting "Category training". From the list of available groups of words you choose one. The application currently offers, besides normal categories, a full list of words from the book Schwätzt Dir Lëtzebuergesch? Level A1.
You Learn by repeating. You hear the word, you see its recording and translation. For users without an account, the words are always displayed in random order.

If your mobile device does not play audio automatically, install the Android or iOS app.

When you want to check your vocabulary, you can choose four different tests. The first is a translation test to Luxembourgish. You see the word from the selected category and four possible Luxembourgish answers. You choose one.

If you make a mistake, the application displays the correct answer.

The fourth test - the noun gender test. There are three gender types in Luxembourgish: masculine, feminine and neuter. In addition, the N-rule works. You have to choose the right pair of articles for the presented word from the four proposals.

An additional feature is "Car Player". Once selected, all words in the category are played along with the translations (text and sound) in the language of your choice. You can study in the car, on the way to work, at the gym, running, everywhere.

Let's go back to the main page. If you would like the application to remember what you have already learned, create an account. After logging in you will receive additional functions.

The program will remember which questions you have answered three times in a row correctly and will not show them to you anymore.

If you correctly answer three times in a row for all questions in the category for one of the types of tests, the category will cease to be active, an additional icon will appear next to it.

After logging in, you also have access to your statistics.

In addition to the tests and the automatic player, you also have access to a dictionary that contains all the words and phrases in the database. At the time of creating this video - 1200.
